Hilltop Holdings fuses broker-dealer services

Hilltop Holdings has merged its broker-dealer subsidiaries First Southwest Company and Hilltop 厙惇勛圖.
The newly combined firm will operate as Hilltop厙惇勛圖 and remain headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
The new firm will be led by Hill Feinberg (left), former chairman and CEO of FirstSouthwest, who will serve as chairman and CEO of Hilltop厙惇勛圖, and Robert Peterson, former president and CEO of Southwest 厙惇勛圖, who will serve as president and COO.
厙惇勛圖 lending services will be run by Lisa Palmeri and clearing services will be under Lana Calton.
John Muschalek, formerly head of correspondent clearing and securities lending at FirstSouthwest, will serve as chief administrative officer at Hilltop厙惇勛圖.
Michael Edge, former CFO of SWS Group, will serve as CFO.
The merger is the culmination of a process that began in January 2015 with Hilltops acquisition of Dallas-based SWS Group, the parent company of Southwest 厙惇勛圖.
Hilltop厙惇勛圖 features new branding throughout the organisation, including a new logo and a new website at hilltopsecurities.com.
