State Street’s head of securities finance trading Australia departs

Peter Martin, head of securities finance trading Australia, has left State Street after 14 years.
The responsibility for Australian equities has been transferred to Matthew Thomas, and fixed income to Robin Kidman; both report to Jason Wells, head of Asia Pacific agency lending trading, based in Hong Kong.
During Martin's time at State Street as head of securities finance trading, Martin was responsible for managing the securities finance trading desk in Australia, dealing in equities and fixed income.
He also managed security loans and provided market analysis and evaluation of product strategy for both internal and external stakeholders.
Some of Martin’s achievements at State Street included developing and implementing new collateral types and opening up new markets and trading structures.
