VDX selects Streatfield as global head of institutional sales

VDX has appointed David Streatfield as managing director and global head of institutional sales.
Based in Hong Kong, Streatfield will report to chief operating officer Donald Day, as well as chief business officer and VDX co-founder Adam Zhou.
VDX is a digital asset platform that aims to bring regulated, reliable, safe and fair services to global investors and financial institutions.
He joins the firm with more than 20 years of experience in financial services, with expertise in investment banking, advising traditional finance firms in expanding into the digital asset space, as well as growing market share.
Streatfield has a track record of creating solutions in the listed securities space. He has helped to establish enterprise client management and sell software-as-a-service solutions to capital market clients.
Streatfield joins VDX from Global Investment Strategy Hong Kong where he was managing director and head of Asia sales.
Previously, Streatfield was executive director of synthetic equity sales and delta one equity financing at Nomura.
In addition, he worked within a number of institutions including Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Deutsche Bank and Barclays.
