The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) has selected Rachelle Keller and Mike West to its board of directors.

Keller joins the equity derivatives clearing organisation as a public director, and is a former financial executive.

She brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry to the new role, where she has held a number of leadership positions across investment banking, markets and trading, as well as institutional brokerage.

During her career, Keller held senior roles at Citibank, and was formerly chief financial officer of Treasury and Íø±¬³Ô¹Ï Services at JPMorgan Chase.

With more than three decades of experience in US equities operations and trading systems, West has taken on the role of exchange director on OCC’s board.

West is currently head of operations at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Group, where he leads business operations for NYSE’s five equity and two options exchanges.

Prior to the NYSE, West also held leadership positions at Pershing and The Philadelphia Stock Exchange.

Commenting on the appointments, OCC Chairman Craig Donohue says: “With their decades of operations experience in financial services, we are pleased to welcome Rachelle and Mike to our board of directors.

“The addition of these two industry leaders complements our mission to promote stability and market integrity through effective and efficient clearance, settlement and risk management services.â€
