Inglis joins BarCap

Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Bank PLC, today announced that Jack Inglis has joined the firm as Managing Director, Head of European Prime Services Distribution.

Mr Inglis will be based in London and will oversee Barclays Capital's European Prime Services Distribution business, which includes Equity Origination and Financing Sales, Fixed Income Origination and Financing Sales teams, Futures Origination and Execution teams, FX PB sales, OTC Clearing and Intermediation sales and the European Capital Solutions team. He will report to Munir Dauhajre, Head of Prime Services Distribution and Omar Selim, Head of European and EMEA Distribution.

Mr. Inglis' career spans over 27-years during which time he has held senior positions across a range of equity-financing businesses, as well as a significant period of time in the Fixed Income space. Most recently he was CEO at Ferox Capital Management, a Convertible specialist investment management firm with hedge and long-only funds, for three years; before which he spent 17 years in a variety of senior roles at Morgan Stanley, latterly as co-Head of the European Prime Brokerage business.

Mr. Dauhajre said, "Jack's proven leadership skills, tenure in Europe and strong connectivity with clients will be an asset to the development of our client franchise. His vast knowledge of equity-financing and his experience in both prime brokerage and hedge fund roles position him perfectly to drive our Distribution platform in Europe and support the global growth objectives of our Prime businesses."
