After Andy Coyne left Citigroup for Traiana, ICAP’s post-trade FX network and processing technology vendor, Citigroup have promoted internally to fill his role.

Sanjay Madgavkar will now be the global head of foreign-exchange prime brokerage, a bank spokesman confirmed. Madgavkar has been with Citigroup for seven years, most recently as head of FX margin trading in New York.

He will now be based in London, reporting to Jeff Feig, global head of G-10 FX.
