Newedge names Babule as US CEO

Antoine Babule has replaced Bill Sexton as the CEO of Newedge in the US.
He will also serve as the regional head of Americas, and will split his time between Newedge’s New York and Chicago offices.
In his new role, Babule will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the company in the US.
He has been with Newedge since 1995 and most recently served as chief administrative officer. Babule has also held senior roles at Newedge since 1999, including CEO of Newedge Canada from January 2008 to September 2010.
Newedge CEO, Nicolas Breteau, said: “Babule has been an integral member of our organisation for nearly 18 years and has played a significant role in building Newedge's industry leading position. With this experience, as well as his passion for our industry and focus on our clients' needs, Babule is well placed to take our Americas business to the next stage of development in a rapidly changing marketplace.â€
