eSecLending bags Peter Economou

Global securities lending agent eSecLending has recruited Peter Economou as its CRO.
He will take up the newly created position on 6 August and will be responsible for the oversight and strategic development of enterprise risk management on a global basis. He will report to CEOs Karen OConnor and Chris Jaynes.
Economou, who has more than 25 years of experience in capital markets, balance sheet management and portfolio management, previously worked as an executive vice president and the global head of securities finance and portfolio solutions at State Street.
He held other senior positions within State Streets securities finance division, including global head of trading and risk management and global head of asset liability management.
He left State Street in 2010 for Premier Global 厙惇勛圖 Lending, but he soon moved on to become a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley.
